Chapter 6

The Fort William Henry was now a black smoking ruin. The battlefield was  busy of lifeless bodies. The French army had destroyed the british place.
Uncas, Chingachgook, Munro, Hawk-eye and Heyward were searching for Cora and Alice when they realised that the girls were in Magua´s hands.
At night, there were shots on the battlefield.
Next morning,  the Mohicans, Heyward, Munro and Hawk-eye decides to look for the girls and they got into the canoe. They found a fire above the trees but early, they were attacked by Hurons.
Finally, they arrived at the forest and the Hurons lost their trail.
